Maris Racal wants a GL movie with Nadine Lustre, Barbie Forteza

Maris Racal expressed her interest in working with Nadine Lustre and Barbie Forteza, mentioning her desire to work on a Girl Love (GL) movie with the two.
In a new interview with Mega, the “Can’t Buy Me Love” actress name-dropped the two female artists who she wants to work with in a romantic GL film, should it come her way.
“Sana may romcom na GL na darating. I really want to work with Barbie Forteza and Nadine Lustre,” she said.
Last year, Racal first expressed her enthusiasm to work with Forteza as she responded to a tweet pairing her with the Kapuso actress, saying, “Sobrang game if ever.”

Racal said that she feels flattered as the netizens continue to dub her as the current generation’s rom-com queen, as she delights them with her charm both onscreen and online.
“Thankful ako sa mga netizens na tinatawag akong romcom queen. It’s a huge title especially here sa country natin na mahilig sa romcom. Wish ko siya, a romcom film talaga. I’m just really up for it,” affirmed the actress.

The 26-year-old actress is currently making waves as people began to notice her versatility as she plays Irene Tiu in “Can’t Buy Me Love,” drawing inspiration from “Succession” character Siobhan Roy.
“Nung napanood ko ‘yun (Succession), ang dami kong nakuhang acting tips by just watching kasi ang gagaling ng mga artista doon. I made Irene Tiu something like Siobhan Roy and Ronan Roy. Pinag-mix ko ‘yung dalawang characters na ‘yun,” she shared.

Meanwhile, Xyriel Manabat and Andrea Brillantes also expressed their interest in teaming up for a GL movie together.
