KaladKaren could not help but shed tears of joy as she was moved by the surprise bridal shower organized for her by friends including Vice Ganda.

The actress-TV host expressed her appreciation while showing moments from the event through her Instagram page on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

“Prince Charming lang ang ipinagdasal ko pero hindi lang iyon ang ibinigay ni Lord. May bonus pang mga taong nagmamahal at gusto kang makitang masaya,” she said.

Addressing Vice Ganda who was the “major sponsor” of the bridal shower, KaladKaren continued, “Thank you Meme Vice dahil ipiniramdam mo sa akin na deserve natin maging masaya, mahalin at magmahal.”

KaladKaren also credited her talent management company, her TV5 family and her college friends for the support and effort they exerted for her. She made mention as well of her “sissy” Kim Chiu and the actress’ sister Lakam, who was present at the event.

Also in attendance at the party were broadcasters Julius Babao, Christine Bersola and Cheryl Cosim.

“Napakasaya ng puso ko,” KaladKaren underscored.

KaladKaren first got engaged to her non-showbiz British fiancé, Luke Wrightson, in 2020. Wrightson then popped the question again last July.

KaladKaren rose to fame for her impersonation of broadcaster Karen Davila. She is also an LGBTQ+ advocate.
