Gabbi Garcia gave another sneak peek of what to expect in her upcoming international film “Death March,” where she will share the spotlight with British actor Scott Adkins.
Garcia revealed that she would portray a Filipino nurse for war prisoners in the film, set during World War 2, per a Saksi report aired Wednesday night, August 14.
“Unique din ang character ko kasi isa akong babaeng nurse na Pinay… ang gagaan ng mga tao dito sa set. Very welcoming din tayong mga Filipinos (My character is very unique because I’m a female Pinay nurse. The people here are easy to work with. The Filipinos are very welcoming as well),” she said.
The actress, who donned a blue nurse’s uniform in one of her posts, also shared glimpses of the filming site in Bataan on her Instagram page. She was also seen interacting with Adkins and the rest of the film’s crew.
“Another day at work,” she wrote while adding hashtags of Adkins and director Louis Mandylor in the caption.
Garcia’s casting in the international film was confirmed in July. Aside from Adkins, details on their cast mates and storyline are yet to be revealed, as of this writing. Meanwhile, fellow Kapuso actor Alden Richards has been reported as one of the producers of “Death March” through his company Myriad Corporation.
The Kapuso actress is also set to appear in the upcoming fantasy drama “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” where she will reprise her character Sang’gre Alena.
