Bianca Manalo, Sherwin Gatchalian react to their viral Senate kiss photo
Actress-beauty queen Bianca Manalo and Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, reacted to their viral kiss photo at the Senate of the Philippines, joking that “they don’t have good manners” to be displaying such public affection.
Secretary of Education Sonny Angara took to Instagram to share a photo of him delivering a speech at the Senate, but what was behind him seemed to be getting more attention — Gatchalian giving Manalo a buss on the lips.
“Madami palang na enganyo sa huling talumpati ko sa Senado (A lot of people were lured into my last speech in the Senate)—I was told I bring people together,” wrote Angara in his caption.

The Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2009 titleholder also shared the kiss photo on her Instagram page alongside other images from her first visit to the Senate floor.
“First time to visit [Sherwin Gatchalian] at the Senate floor today. They were saying their thank yous and goodbyes to Senator, now our DepEd Secretary [Sonny Angara],” she wrote.
“I had to leave already, because I have a play to watch at the GSIS theater, which is behind the Senate building. We kissed goodbye. We didn’t know we would be seen on the monitor while Secretary Sonny was having his goodbye speech [shy emoji],” added the actress-beauty queen.

Fellow celebrities and politicians including Pia Cayetano, Iza Calzado, Mariel Padilla and Aubrey Tan Zubiri, among others, also reacted to the photo by leaving a lot of heart emojis.
Gatchalian and Manalo have celebrated their 5th anniversary as a couple last November and have remained strong despite the controversy that dragged her name into the text scandal that rocked her fellow “Magandang Dilag” co-stars Herlene Budol and Rob Gomez late last year.
