Filipina vlogger Rosmar Tan shared that she realized she’s already “rich” when she could afford to spend P1 million to P2 million in a day.
“Para po sa ‘kin, siguro ‘yung expenses ko sa isang araw, eh parang milyon, gano’n, na parang never kong kinita before (For me, I think my expenses in a day run to a million, which I never earned before),” she told Karen Davila in an interview.
Tan underscored that she handled many businesses before, but it was only through live selling during the pandemic that her income skyrocketed, and now she can afford to spend P1 million to P2 million in one day.
“Ang dami kong business, may pet shop, may samgyupsal, restaurant, ukayan, fish store, parang lahat na po, ginawa kong business. Halos sabay-sabay pa ‘yon na never kong kinita. Pero ngayon, imagine niyo ‘yung 1M or 2M, minsan expenses ko na lang po sa isang araw,” she shared.
(I had a lot of businesses; there was a pet shop, a samgyupsal place, a restaurant, a thrift store, a fish store; they almost operated at the same time, but I never earned so much. But now, imagine the 1M or 2M; sometimes, I just spend it in one day.)
When asked if she already considers herself a billionaire, Tan was reluctant to answer, but stressed she’s flattered that people think about her that way.
“Nakakatuwa, kasi iniisip nilang ganon. Pero ang sakin lang naman po gustong gusto ko lang po kumita ng kumita para po sa future ng mga anak ko at sa mga tao po na umaasa po samin,” she expressed.
(It’s flattering that they think that way. But one thing sure is I want is to make money for the future of my children and the people who depend on us.)
The social media influencer also clarified her previous statement that she earns around 13 million pesos per day from her skin-care brand and the products she endorses, saying that the income is distributed to a lot of people.
“Ang inaaffliate ko po non mga distributors ko sa kanila po parang pumapasok ‘yung kita. Ako po nagdadada lang ako sa live,” she explained.
(I am affiliated with my distributors, and the income goes to them. I just get a percentage as I do the live selling.)
Tan also revealed that she now has 10 resorts and more than 30 land titles under her name. She and her husband also own around seven luxury sports cars.
