Harlem Globetrotters will be treating Filipino fans to a “unique basketball skills and wizardry” performance as they announced their upcoming Manila show in November.

The exhibition team announced in a recent press conference in Manila that they are growing their global tour with expansion to the continent of Asia. Present at the media event were Globetrotters members ‘Wham’ Middleton and ‘Moose’ Weekes, and TEG Asia.

The Asia leg of their tour will kick off in Manila on Nov. 12 at the Smart Asia Coliseum. Aside from the Philippines, Harlem Globetrotters will also hold shows in East Malaysia on Nov. 14, Indonesia on Nov. 16-17 and Singapore on Nov. 23-24.

“We are excited about our partnership with LK Entertainment, in that it allows for our strategic expansion and commitment to the many audiences that make up the Asia continent,” said Keith Dawkins, president of Harlem Globetrotters and Herschend Entertainment Studios, in a statement.

“We believe that this is not only a tremendous opportunity for our live tour business but for the growth of other facets of the Globetrotters businesses including content, sponsorship and consumer products,” he added.

The Harlem Globetrotters also marked a “new era of growth” as they returned to television for the first time in 40 years, signed deals with a variety of new global partners, scored multiple Emmy nominations and created the first-ever sports residency.
