Amid her battle with stiff-person syndrome, global superstar Celine Dion is reportedly expected make her most-awaited comeback on stage, as she is rumored to perform live at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

French journalist Thierry Moreau revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that Dion along with Lady Gaga will perform Édith Piafs classic “La Vie en Rose” at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics on Friday, July 26 (July 27 in Paris).

This rumor got intense after the Canadian singer shared on Instagram that she was in Paris enjoying her time.

Dion’s expected performance at the 2024 Olympics Games will mark her first live act since she canceled her 2023–2024 shows because of her rare neurological disorder.

In December 2022, Dion revealed that she was diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare health condition that “makes the muscles in the torso and limbs alternate between spasming and being rigid.”

Last month, the “My Heart Will Go on” singer’s heartbreaking documentary, “I Am: Céline Dion,” was lauded by critics. It depicts her harrowing struggles in battling her condition.

“I miss it so much. The people. I miss them,” Dion tearfully opened up as she talked about performing in front of an audience again. “If I can’t run, I’ll walk; if I can’t walk, I’ll crawl. I won’t stop.”

In 1996, Dion performed “The Power of Dream” at the Olympic Games in Atlanta.

Meanwhile, Gaga has also been spotted in Paris, including one where she was blowing a kiss to fans holding camp outside her hotel.

She is set to dazzle the big screen as Harley Quinn in the most anticipated sequel to “Joker,” to be released in October.
