K-pop boy group RIIZE seems to be aware of SB19 and BINI’s growing influence in the music scene as they impressed fans (or BRIIZE) with dance covers of “Gento” and “Salamin, Salamin.”

RIIZE brought their Filipino BRIIZE to its feet after doing short dance covers of “Gento” and “Salamin, Salamin” at a fan show in Quezon City last Sunday, July 14.

Divided into teams of two, one of the segments included the popular dance challenge where the boy group had to choose between “Gento,” “Salamin, Salamin” and Sarah Geronimo’s “Dati-Dati.” They eventually decided on the P-pop hits, saying it was recommended to them by their fans.

The members of the group eventually danced to “Salamin, Salamin,” particularly the mirror-like hand movements in the choreography, as well as SB19’s smash hit, much to the delight of fans.

Both covers were captured by @philconcerts and @onemediaaccess on X (formerly Twitter).

The K-pop boy group also interacted with fans and performed their hit songs such as “Love 119” and “Boom Boom Bass” at the show. They also held a fan sign event the day after.

Following the group’s visit to the country, RIIZE’s Anton surprised fans with an OPM playlist consisting “Sa Susunod Na Habang Buhay” by Ben&Ben, “Atin Ang Walang Hanggan” by SunKissed Lola, “Kasing Kasing” by Juan Karlos and Kyle Echarri, and “Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw” by December Avenue and Moira Dela Torre, to name a few.

RIIZE debuted as a seven-piece act in September 2023, which consists of Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton. Seunghan has been on hiatus from group activities since November 2023.

The boy group is a combination of the phrase “Rise & Realize” and is best known for their hit songs “Love 119,” “Get A Guitar,” and “Boom Boom Bass.”

Meanwhile, SB19 made their debut in October 2018. Composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, the five-piece P-pop act is tagged as the “P-pop Kings” and is set to release their “Pagtatag!” documentary film on August.

BINI, on the other hand, consists of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena. The P-pop girl group, who debuted in June 2021, exploded in popularity since their hit song “Pantropiko” went viral, and has since enjoyed wide recognition from the public.
