While Nadia Montenegro didn’t name outright the biological father of her youngest daughter Sophia, the actress took a swipe at actor Baron Geisler and his recent child revelation “for views.”

Montenegro addressed the speculations surrounding the identity of Sophia’s dad through an interview vlog with broadcaster Julius Babao on Tuesday, June 25.

The topic was brought up after Babao asked about the claims that the actress had a child whom she does not share with her late husband Macario “Boy” Asistio Jr.

Montenegro stressed that while the public was “feasting” on her and her family’s lives, she exerted effort to fix their relationship privately after what happened and succeeded in doing so.

Montenegro further noted that she has no regrets over having Sophia, whom she described as one of her biggest blessings.

Walang puwedeng magkwestiyon outside our circle,” Montenegro stated.

“Wala akong pakialam sa kanila… Nung nagyari ‘yan, nung nagtrending, kalmado lang kami sa bahay,” she said, apparently referring to Geisler’s revelation last March that he has an older daughter aside from his child with his wife Jamie Evangelista.

When asked if her daughter is “interested” in building a relationship with her biological dad, Montenegro disclosed, “As of now, hindi.”

So nasaan do’n ‘yung intention mo na magkaroon ng relationship; or gusto mo lang ng views?” she continued.

“And give me a reason why. Are you even worth it to be called a dad?”
