Pauleen Luna says she wants to focus on motherhood for now

Pauleen Luna-Sotto said she wants to focus on being a dedicated mother to her children, Tali and Thia so that her daughters could have a “memorable” childhood.
On her Instagram Stories on Monday, June 3, Luna said she wants to “focus on [her] children” at the moment, in response to a follower’s question about the possibility of returning to her show biz career.
“As of this very moment, I would like to focus on my children. I would love for them to have a happy, safe, and memorable childhood,” she said. “I am fortunate na kaya na sa bahay lang ako (that I’m just at home). I’d love to guide my children and be there for them and take this time [or] opportunity to strengthen our bond.”

In a separate post, Luna also shared that her experiences with Thia, her second daughter, are “different” in a good way, saying that she’s “more confident and calm” than before.
“It’s been good! My challenges with Thia are definitely different with my first child… I am more experienced so I am more confident and calm,” she said.
The actress-host described Thia as a “chill baby,” while admitting that being a mother has always been her dream.
“Sometimes, di parin ako makapaniwala (I can’t believe) that I have 2 kids… I sometimes forget about myself, but then again, it has always been my dream to become a mother. And I feel extremely blessed to be given my girls because they are just the easiest babies. I couldn’t have gotten a more perfect fit,” she said.

When asked the best thing about her husband Vic Sotto as a father, Luna shared that while he’s not “vocal or expressive,” he is a “softie” around his children while pointing out that their children are his “weakness.”
“His children are his weakness and would do anything for them if he could. I am glad I was able to witness this with his older children and now, younger kids,” she said.

Luna and Sotto tied the knot in January 2016. The actress-host gave birth to Tali in November 2017 and welcomed Thia Marceline in January 2024.
