Kim Taehyung, also known as V of BTS, showed off his dancing skills in new videos, delighting the fans who have been missing the K-pop star while serving at the military.

V posted the surprise videos on his Instagram story, which trended on X (formerly Twitter) and quickly amassed around 10 million views.

In his caption, he wrote, “I wanted to dance [fire emoji].”

The first video featured the K-pop boy group member and renowned choreographer Bada Lee flaunting their impressive dance moves in a practice studio.

Lee wrote in her caption, “95 Liners with Ingyoo Chef,” referencing that the three of them were born in 1995.

In the second video, the two were joined by acclaimed dancer GOF, also known as Lee Do Geon, alongside Ingyoo Kim, who choreographed the dance routine. The group displayed a fun performance, demonstrating their talent and synergy.

The netizens expressed their amazement at V’s improved dancing skills even while he was staying in the military.

“After going to the military, he got really fit. He’s such a man now and dances so stylishly,” said one fan.

“Most idols can’t match up to the real dancers’ swag, no matter how good they are at dancing, but what’s crazy about Taehyungie is that he can match up to them,” wrote another fan.

“He’s so good, and it looks like he’s enjoying it, which makes it even better to watch,” expressed one netizen.

“Why did you get better at dancing after going to the military?” asked another fan.

In September 2023, V also delighted the fans with a dance cover with the same group as they did the “Smoke” dance challenge.

The video impressed V’s fans at the time as he showed his remarkable dance moves despite sharing the routine with two professional dancers behind him.

All seven members of BTS — V, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook — are serving in the military.
