Kim Taehyung, also known as V, of the South Korean boy group BTS, gave his fans a life update, sharing current photos of himself as he continues his intensive military training.

On his Instagram Story, V shared a few photos showcasing his healthy body as well as “wounds” that he got from his military training.

The first photo was an image of a four-leaf clover, where he wrote, as translated from Korean to English, “Allegiance (salute emoji). Is everyone doing well? I’m working out healthily and also wearing a cool black uniform and getting cool training and doing well!”

The boy group member shared that he has gained weight but is still aiming to work out harder to be in greater shape.

“I came on a break for a short time to wish Na PD-nim on his birthday and spent great time talking with friends about military life after a long time. I’m currently 75kg after working out diligently, but our military warriors’ bodies are in great shape, so I have to try a little harder.”

But what seemed to be the fans’ favorites among V’s photos were the mirror selfies. In one of the photos, the K-pop performer was wearing a black T-shirt as he stood inside a gym with a face mask hanging from his chin, exposing half of his good-looking face.

He shared more photos of him showing his “buff” figure, which put the fans in a giddy mood. On Weverse, V also posted a picture of his bare back with scar marks, which fans figured came from constant workouts. He wrote in his caption, “Wounds of glory.”

As of now, all seven members of BTS—V, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook—are serving in the military.
