Ahtisa Manalo, Alexie Brooks top Miss Universe Philippines’ ‘Runway Challenge’
Ma. Ahtisa Manalo from Quezon Province and Alexie Mae Brooks from Iloilo City dominated all three preliminary challenges of the ongoing Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant, the latest of which was the “Runway Challenge.”
Aside from the “Runway Challenge,” both delegates were among the top vote-getters in “Swimsuit Challenge,” and “Up Close and Personal” interview challenge. The leading delegates in every voting category were solely based on the votes made on the Miss Universe Philippines mobile app.
The results of the Runway Challenge voting were released on the national pageant’s social media accounts on May 12, while the two other challenges’ leading delegates had already been announced earlier.

Article continues after this advertisementThe winners in every challenge will earn guaranteed spots in the semifinals. In the event of a tie, the organization will determine who the winner will be.
Article continues after this advertisementPatricia Bianca Tapia from the Filipino community in Hawaii and Stephanie Faye Gerona from Quirino were among the five leading delegates in two challenges. Both ladies made it to the Top 5 in the personality interview round of voting. Tapia was among the leading delegates in the swimsuit voting, while Gerona was among the ladies who topped the runway poll.
Matea Mahal Smith from the Filipino community in Florida and Angel Rose Tambal from Leyte were also among the top vote-getters in the Runway Challenge.
And while Christi Lynn McGarry from Taguig City cracked the Top 5 in the personality interview challenge, Dia Maté from Cavite and Jet Hammond from the Filipino community in Southern California were among the leading delegates in the Swimsuit Challenge.
The winners of the challenges will be announced at the Miss Universe Philippines 2024 coronation show at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on May 22.
The winner will inherit the title from Michelle Marquez Dee, and represent the Philippines in the 73rd Miss Universe pageant in Mexico later this year.
