Miss Universe Philippines 2024 pageant opens ‘Runway Challenge’ online voting
The heat is on at the 2024 Miss Universe Philippines pageant with the opening of the online voting for the much-awaited “Runway Challenge,” which followed the recently held “Swimsuit Challenge” and “Up Close & Personal” interview challenge.
As in the previous editions, the online challenges give the delegates the chance to earn guaranteed spots in the semifinals by garnering the most votes from fans.
The Miss Universe Philippines Organization (MUPH) has been reminding netizens that the online challenge winners are solely determined by votes on the pageant’s mobile app. In the event of a tie, the organization will choose the winner.
For the “Runway Challenge,” one of the most anticipated online competitions of the national pageant, the 53 delegates strutted down the ramp erected at the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Capitol during their recent visit to the Mindanoaon province.
Beatrice Luigi Gomez, 70th Miss Universe Top 5 finisher and 2021 national titleholder, hosted the show.
