A day after Claudine Barretto sat down with entertainment insider Ogie Diaz for a tell-all interview, the actress expressed her support for the latter by sending him a heartfelt gift.

Barretto expressed her love for Diaz by gifting him a cake with letters done in fondant which was made in the form of lollipops that spell out: “We love you, friend,” as seen on the latter’s Instagram Story.

The cake also contained a short message: “From your supporters who believed and loved you dearly.”

Barretto was recently interviewed by Diaz on the talent manager’s YouTube channel last May 4, where the actress recalled how much the untimely death of her late ex-boyfriend Rico Yan affected her. She also stated that she did her best to protect Yan’s name even after his death.

Diaz was slapped with three cyber libel complaints by the camp of Bea Alonzo last May 2, along with fellow entertainment insider Cristy Fermin, their hosts on their respective showbiz programs, and an unnamed netizen allegedly pretending to know the latter personally.
