Dawn Zulueta warns legal action vs unauthorized use of name in endorsements
Dawn Zulueta threatened legal action against “fake endorsements and fabricated photos” using her name, as she urged her followers to be mindful of what they see on social media.
Zulueta took to her Instagram account on Saturday, May 4, to share that there are false endorsements made as if they’re “associated with her” even though it wasn’t “explicitly stated” on her social media accounts.
The actress, however, didn’t attach samples of the aforementioned endorsements in her post.
“It has come to my attention that there are false endorsements and fabricated photos being circulated on the internet purportedly associated with me. I want to make it abundantly clear to all my followers that unless explicitly shared on my official accounts, any content bearing my name or likeness is unequivocally fake,” she said.

In her post, Zulueta said such posts would “not be tolerated” and legal action would be pursued against those involved in the fake endorsements.
“Further propagation of these falsities will not be tolerated. Legal actions will be pursued against those involved in the creation, distribution, or perpetuation of these deceitful materials,” she said. “Let us collectively strive to combat the spread of false information and uphold integrity and authenticity online.”
