Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel appears to be maximizing her stay in the Philippines as she explored not only beach destinations but also the busy marketplace of Divisoria.
The Filipino-American beauty queen-fashion designer documented her trip through a video on her Instagram page on Wednesday, April 24.
“Practiced my tawad, battled the heat, and fought the urge to buy all the fabrics in Divisoria,” she captioned her post.
In the clip, Gabriel showed herself going from shop to shop to check fabrics and sewing threads.
“I actually used to come here a lot when I was a kid visiting the Philippines. I always remember coming to buy [purses] and different clothing,” she said of Divisoria.
After her fabric shopping, Gabriel also rode what appears to be an e-bike to Abad Santos where she bought a sewing machine.
Prior to this, Gabriel spent two days in Bohol where she explored the beaches and the Chocolate Hills.
Gabriel, who is based in the United States, has been in the Philippines since April 13. The beauty queen will be in the country for a longer time, as per her Instagram post.
Gabriel earlier appeared in the GMA show “TiktoClock,” which marked her first-ever TV guesting in the Philippines. She is also set to host the 2024 Miss Universe Philippines pageant’s coronation night on May 22.
