Carlo Aquino is making the most of the sweltering summer heat as he bonded with Mithi, his child with model-influencer Trina Candaza, in a father-and-daughter pool date.

Aquino took to his Instagram account on Monday, April 22, to share snippets of his bonding moments with his daughter by the pool, where he was seen carrying his daughter in the video.

At one point, Mithi — who had an inflatable swim ring in the shape of a flamingo — made the actor smile after she dumped water on his head.

The father-and-daughter bonding comes almost a year after Aquino reunited with Candaza at Mithi’s moving-up ceremony in May 2023. The actor, however, was absent on his daughter’s third birthday in September of the same year.

Aquino and Candaza were together in January 2019 and welcomed Mithi in September 2020. They eventually split in December 2021.

The actor reportedly filed a case to secure visitation rights over Mithi , but the ex-couple chose to keep silent on the matter.

Aquino is currently in a relationship with actress Charlie Dizon. He confirmed their relationship in January 2023, although the actress addressed Aquino as her boyfriend six months later.
