Andi Eigenmann relieved after Philmar Alipayo underwent test for heart defect

Andi Eigenmann heaved a sigh of relief after her partner Philmar Alipayo underwent a medical test for his congenital heart defect, and results “turned out better than expected.”
Eigenmann spoke about the celebrity surfer’s condition through her Instagram Stories on Monday, April 22.
“Well wishes for Papa as he goes under a transesophageal echocardiogram procedure today (to relieve a bit of difficulty he has been experiencing from a congenital heart defect),” she said. “Hopefully he will be back to his [100 percent] soon after.”
She also added the quote: “You never have any idea what people are dealing with in their personal [lives] so just be nice. It’s that simple.”

Alipayo, meanwhile, asked for prayers prior to the procedure, which he underwent to return to his “athletic mode” again.

A few hours later, Eigenmann expressed gratitude, saying the celebrity surfer is “good to go again.” Alipayo, in turn, thanked the actress as well for her support.

Eigenmann and Alipayo, who are based in Siargao, earlier flew to Manila for the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP)’s Parangal ng Sining 2024. Eigenmann attended the event to accept the Honorary Distinction for her late mother Jaclyn Jose.
At the event, Eigenmann talked to some members of the press and disclosed that they postponed their 2024 wedding in view of Jose’s recent death.
