Melai Cantiveros plans to have third child, hopes for baby boy

Melai Cantiveros revealed that she and her husband Jason Francisco have plans for an addition to their family, but that they will only do so when their daughters Mela and Stella are ready to have another sibling.
Cantiveros disclosed this during an interview in a surprise party for her 36th birthday, as seen on “TV Patrol” on Monday, April 8.
“Sana magka-baby pa para may boy kami. Tapos sana April din [ipanganak] para ang pangalan ay April Boy,” she quipped. (I wish we could have one more child—a baby boy. Then I hope he will be born in April so we can name him April Boy.)
“Hindi lang kami ang magdedesisyon. Magdedesisyon din ang magkakapatid,” she added, referring to Mela and Stella. “Kung gusto [na nila], gagawin na namin ni [Papa Jason].”
([Jason and I] are not the only ones who decide on this, but also the sisters. Once they want it, then we’ll pursue it.)
Cantiveros explained that she and Francisco let their daughters be part of the decision-making despite their being still kids as they are members of the family.
“Ayaw pa ni Stella,” the comedian then admitted. (Stella has yet to approve of it.)
Meanwhile, Cantiveros reflected on her 36th birthday and declared that all she wants to have is peace of mind, regarding it as the “best gift” she can give to herself.
Cantivero and Francisco tied the knot in December 2013, then welcomed Mela in 2014. The pair briefly separated in 2016, and eventually reconciled. In 2017, Cantiveros gave birth to their second child Stella.
