On April Fools’ Day, Melai Cantiveros recalls denial of feelings for Jason Francisco

Melai Cantiveros marked April Fools’ Day by recalling her “Pinoy Big Brother” days with fellow housemate and now-husband Jason Francisco, and how she declared at the time that she would never develop romantic feelings for him.
The actress-TV host shared a stitched photo showing a conversation she had with Francisco in 2009 inside the PBB house, as seen on her Instagram page on Monday, April 1.
According to the photo dialogue, Francisco was asking Cantiveros if she had a crush on him. “Hindi ako magkakagusto sa’yo kahit na kailan. No no no way!” she strongly denied at the time. (I will never have feelings for you. No way!)
However, the last photo, which showed the two of them already with children, proved to be the opposite of her pronouncements.
“Happy April Fools’ Day,” Cantiveros then captioned her post, adding a photo of her wacky face and another photo with Francisco.

Cantiveros drew laughs from fellow celebrities who also gushed over the couple through the comments section.

Cantiveros and Francisco—dubbed as Melason—were among the winners of “Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up” edition, with the former as the first placer and the latter as the 3rd placer.
The couple got married in December 2013, then welcomed their firstborn Mela in 2014. The pair had a rough patch and separated in 2016, but they eventually reconciled. The following year, Cantiveros gave birth to their second child Stela.
