Miriam Quiambao reaffirmed her commitment to her husband, entrepreneur and inspirational speaker Ardy Roberto, as they renewed their vows on their 10th wedding anniversary in Alabang on March 24.
Quiambao and Roberto celebrated their marriage in an intimate vow renewal ceremony headed by Pastor Joby Soriano at the Palm’s Country Club in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, as seen in a highlights video on the couple’s YouTube channel three days after their special day.
The former Miss Universe titleholder looked immaculate in an asymmetrical wedding gown and held a bouquet of pink, white, and orange flowers, while Roberto was dashing in his off-white coat and white shirt.
“I prayed to God to choose the best husband for me and praise God, he did not disappoint,” Quiambao said while noting some of her favorite qualities about Roberto in her vow.
“Ardy, I mentioned it before and I will say it again — you are a beautiful man. You are a loving, Godly husband, a thoughtful and considerate partner, and a fun-loving, amazing dad… not a perfect man but the perfect husband for me,” she continued.
Meanwhile, Roberto said it’s easy to love Quiambao because of her being a “forgiving” partner who “loves and fears” God.
“You love God, more than me or anyone or anything else. And that’s a good thing because a woman who loves and fears the Lord is a treasure,” he said. “Sometimes, I brag to people how easy it is to love you and be with you. Ang sarap mong maging asawa, hindi nakakasawa (It’s so nice to have you as my wife. I’m not tired of it).”
Nice Print Photography also shared snippets of the couple’s “solemn” ceremony in a joint Instagram post with Quiambao on Sunday, March 31.
“Intimate, solemn, and beautiful renewal of vows for @miriamq888 and @ardyroberto. We are happy that you trusted us once again to cover your 10th-anniversary wedding, just as we covered your wedding ten years ago. Best wishes Ardy and Miriam,” its post read.
Quiambao, who was named Miss Universe 1999 first runner-up, wed Roberto at a garden ceremony in March 2014. They have two children together, Elijah and Ziki, whom they referred to as “miracle babies” as the former beauty queen gave birth to them in her 40s.
The couple is also parents to Joshua, who is Roberto’s adopted child from his previous marriage with his late wife Tingting.
