Marina Summers ends Drag Race UK journey at Top 4
Philippine bet Marina Summers finished her “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs The World” season 2 journey as she landed in fourth place.
During the final Lip Sync battle of the competition, which aired on Friday, March 29, (Saturday in the Philippines), Marina chose “Drag Race Down Under” contestant Hannah Conda, and they performed the song “I’m Outta Love” by Anastacia. Hannah won the round, making Marina a Top 4 finalist.
“Marina Summers, I’m sorry, my dear, but this is not your time. Thank you for an amazing season. You are and will always be a global phenomenon,” said RuPaul.
Marina then expressed her gratitude to the Queen of Drag and addressed her Filipino supporters.
“Ru, thank you so much for inviting this little Filipina to your big show. I am forever grateful and my lines are open for another call. But, honestly, I know I made a lot of Filipinos across the globe proud and thank you for giving me this opportunity. I’ll always and forever be your Filipino winner,” she said.
