Philippine bet Marina Summers finished her “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs The World” season 2 journey as she landed in fourth place.

During the final Lip Sync battle of the competition, which aired on Friday, March 29, (Saturday in the Philippines), Marina chose “Drag Race Down Under” contestant Hannah Conda, and they performed the song “I’m Outta Love” by Anastacia. Hannah won the round, making Marina a Top 4 finalist.

“Marina Summers, I’m sorry, my dear, but this is not your time. Thank you for an amazing season. You are and will always be a global phenomenon,” said RuPaul.

Marina then expressed her gratitude to the Queen of Drag and addressed her Filipino supporters.

“Ru, thank you so much for inviting this little Filipina to your big show. I am forever grateful and my lines are open for another call. But, honestly, I know I made a lot of Filipinos across the globe proud and thank you for giving me this opportunity. I’ll always and forever be your Filipino winner,” she said.

After the results were announced, the Filipino drag queen took to X (formerly Twitter) to say, “Maraming salamat (thank you so much), world. We fought hard on this one,”

She also posted her “Red Carpet Eleganza” look during the finale of the competition and said that despite the “ending,” it became a “magical” journey for her.

“I think I’ve seen this film before… We might have not liked my ending, but I had the best time with my lovely @dragraceukbbc girls! I am so so so damn honored to be part of this amazing show!” she wrote.

“Philippines, Asia, World, thank you so much for giving this little Filipina a BIG chance to win your hearts. This was such a magical run for me and I couldn’t be any more prouder! I will always and forever be your Filipina Winnah,” added the drag queen.

Marina is the first drag queen from the Philippines to compete in an international edition of the reality competition. She was a runner-up in “Drag Race Philippines” Season 1 in 2022.

Tia Kofi of the United Kingdom (UK) was crowned as the winner for the second season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. the World.”
