Andi Eigenmann and her brother Gwen Guck spent quality time in her home in Siargao, with the actress saying she believes their late mom Jaclyn Jose has been watching over them from “paradise.”

Eigenmann gave a glimpse of Guck’s stay on the island through her Instagram page on Monday, March 25. The siblings can be seen bonding with Eigenmann’s children Ellie, Lilo and Koa.

“An introduction to the island life for my (not so) little brother. It did not happen in the circumstance we had hoped for, but I’m glad to finally do this nonetheless,” Eigenmann said in the caption.

“Nanay never made it, but I would like to believe she lovingly watched over us from her paradise. After all, all I can do now is to believe,” she continued.

She then reminded her followers how life is uncertain, and urged them: “Look after your people. Hug them. Love them. Cherish them. Hold your loved ones close.”

Jose died of a heart attack on March 2 at the age of 60. The award-winning actress was brought to her final resting place last March 10.

Some of the veteran actress’ ashes—as revealed earlier by Andi’s half-brother Gabby Eigenmann—were brought to Siargao by the younger actress.
