Andi Eigenmann penned a heartfelt message for her mother, the late Jaclyn Jose, for her undying love, days after the screen veteran was brought to her final resting place.

Eigenmann took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, March 12, to share glimpses of her mother’s funeral, which included the urn and framed photos of Jose, as well as photos of a blue butterfly and a sunflower bouquet.

“Higit pa sa sapat ang itinira mong pagmamahal para kami ay hindi mangulila. Habang buhay kong dadalhin ang iyong mga ala-ala. Maraming salamat sa iyong gabay, Nay. Sa kahit saang parte ng aking buhay parati kitang madarama. Parati kitang makikita,” she said.

The former actress said she would always feel Jose by her side. “Ika’y nasa araw, sa ulan, at sa hanging aking nilalasap. Umaawit ng kantang puno ng pag- asa at ligaya. Wala na ang sakit. Wala na ang takot. Matatanaw pa rin kita sa mga ulap, at maririnig ang mga bulong ng iyong pagmamahal,” she said.

(I could feel you in the sun, rain, and the wind flowing right through me. The trees are singing a song of hope and joy. No more pain. No more fear. I could still see you in the heavens, and hear your whisper of love.)

“Magkikita din tayong muli. Sa ngayon diringgin ko muna ang iyong mga awit. Nasa paraiso ka na, Nanay. Pahinga ka na,” she added.

(We’ll see each other again. For now, I’ll listen to your songs. You’re in paradise, Mom. Rest.)

Eigenmann, who was accompanied by Gabby, revealed that Jose died of a heart attack on March 2, shortly after the screen veteran’s death was confirmed by her management, PPL Entertainment.

The actress was also among the key figures in Jose’s week-long wake in Quezon City, where she welcomed fellow celebrities and her mother’s colleagues in the entertainment industry.

Born as Mary Jane Guck, the late actress was known for her “big heart” who “saved her love for everyone else,” according to Eigenmann during her wake.
