David Licauco fanboys over Kathryn Bernardo during fashion show

David Licauco was one happy fanboy after getting his chance to work with Kathryn Bernardo and snap some photos with her on the sidelines of a fashion show for a clothing brand for which they were both endorsers.
Licauco said he is a “huge fan” of Bernardo, and was delighted to have worked with the Kapamilya star last Sunday, March 10.
On the sidelines of the Sparkle Goes to Canada press conference, Licauco didn’t hide his admiration for the actress when asked about their photo together.
“I’m a big fan of Kathryn [Bernardo]. Noong bata-bata pa ako, pinapanood ko ‘yung mga pelikula nila ni Daniel [Padilla]. I’m so happy to see her as a fan (I’m a big fan of Kathryn Bernardo. When I was still young, I used to watch her movies with Daniel Padilla. I’m so happy to see her as a fan),” he said.

The Kapuso star also said he’s game if he and Bernardo would be given the opportunity to join forces in a project in the future.
“Oo naman, siyempre. Anything na [related] sa work, I’ll do it (Of course. Anything related to work, I’ll do it),” he said.
This is not the first time Licauco has been vocal about being a fan of Bernardo. In a July 2023 lie detector interview, the actor said he hoped his onscreen partnership with Barbie Forteza would “last as long as KathNiel” and that his favorite film of theirs was “Crazy Beautiful You,” a movie that starred Bernardo and Padilla.
“Sina KathNiel, idol ko pala sila, by the way… Nakakakilig kasi sila eh,” he said.
