Gerald Anderson celebrated his 35th birthday by going on a camping trip with his girlfriend, actress Julia Barretto, and friends in Tanay, Rizal.
The actor documented their nature trip through his Instagram page on Thursday, March 7, showing them taking a dip in a river, relaxing in what appears to be a cabana, and sharing a drink.
“35,” read his brief caption.
Julia, for her part, greeted the actor via her Instagram page with a photo of them soaking up the sun while dipping in a stream.
“Happy birthday to my bestest friend,” she captioned her post.
In a separate post, she shared a clip of herself driving an ATV and a snap of their starry-night view.
The couple also celebrated Anderson’s birthday over a meal with Julia’s family, as shown on her mom Marjorie Barretto’s Instagram page. Present in the intimate gathering were Marjorie, Claudia, Leon, Erich, and Dani and her husband Xavi Panlilio.
“Happy Birthday, Ge! May all your prayers and dreams come true,” Marjorie greeted.
Anderson and Julia’s relationship was confirmed to the public in March 2021. The pair had been hounded by breakup rumors, which Julia considered a “compliment.”
“Parang gan’un ang balita every month for how many years na talaga. Hindi ko rin talaga alam kung saan nanggagaling,” she said then. “But I think I will just take it as a compliment.”

“I guess we’re able to create that private bubble of ours na hindi na nila alam kung ano ang masyadong nangyayari sa partnership namin,” she further noted.
