Liza Soberano was finally able to watch her actor boyfriend Enrique Gil’s comeback film “I Am Not Big Bird,” and the actress has nothing but compliments for his performance in the adult comedy movie.

After her absence on the film’s premiere night, Soberano extended her support to Gil by organizing what appears to be a special screening of the movie, as seen on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, March 5.

“I Am Not Big Bird” had its premiere night last Feb. 13, which coincided with Soberano’s event for a brand. The “Lisa Frankenstein” actress also had to fly back to Los Angeles shortly after the event.

Despite this, Gil said he totally understood her absence and her busy schedule. The actor also underscored that they are currently focusing on their careers.

“I’m just really happy that we’re both focused on ourselves first. Because we were so caught up on the two of us so much,” he said.

“We talked na nga, this is also really good for us to go on our own path in our career, just to be able to grow. It’s really exciting for me right now, what we’re going to be doing, and giving to the industry,” he added.

Soberano and Gil, who have been together since 2014, worked together on several projects including “Alone Together,” “Forevermore,” “My Ex and Whys” and “Dolce Amore.”
