It’s women’s month, and Heart Evangelista spared yet another nugget of wisdom for her women fans as she revels in her runway stint for Paris Fashion Week, reminding that no matter how one wanted very much to get ahead, she should not step on other people’s toes.
Evangelista made her cryptic remark on her social media pages, even as she was in the midst of her preparation for numerous fashion events in the French capital.
In one event, she made a “last-minute appearance” in the fashion show of Vietnamese luxury brand Phan Huy at the Maison de L’amerique Latine on Sunday, March 3, wearing an elegant see-through tube peplum gown with a deep “V” reaching her navel.
She was also joined by Swiss-Lithuanian singer Ginta, models, and fashion influencers in the aforementioned show.
Evangelista expressed gratitude for the opportunity, while reminding her followers of the golden rule, then to “focus on [their] goals” instead of putting others down.
“So, so grateful for everything. Work hard, [and] never step on others just to get ahead. Focus on your goals and enjoy each process. Good or bad and one day, little by little, you shall be living your dream,” she stated.
Evangelista’s post came just a day after Pia Wurtzbach, who is also in Paris for some events, also called out netizens for “hurtful comments” and “starting a clash between women” on social media.
Both fashion personalities were being compared with each other, especially as Wurtzbach has taken in Evangelista’s previous glam team.
Evangelista made headlines in December 2023 after she spoke about being kicked out of a Fashion Week event after being informed that someone would take her place. In the same interview, she also alleged certain “political” moments where a certain group of people would take control of her contacts although she didn’t name anyone in particular.
