Danica Sotto jokingly calls Thia her child: ‘Kapatid ko pala’
Danica Sotto drew laughs from netizens after she quipped that as a mom, she makes sure her “children”—including her youngest and newborn sister Thia Marceline—get a good sleep.
Danica—who has a 41-year age gap with the newborn daughter of her dad Vic Sotto and his wife Pauleen Luna—was carrying Thia as she hopped on the “as a mom” trend. The trend includes mothers sharing their relatable experiences and moments in their motherhood journey.
The now-expired video of Danica was originally posted by Mara Sotto-Fortuna on Instagram on Tuesday, Feb. 20, but it has been re-uploaded by fan account @team_bosleng.
“As a mom, I really make sure na talagang mahimbing ang tulog ng mga anak ko—kapatid ko pala,” Danica said in the video, before bursting into laughter with Mara. (As a mom, I really make sure that my children get a good sleep—oh, she’s my sister.)

Netizens found the video of the sisters “cute,” admiring their bond via the comments section.
Luna gave birth to Thia, her second child with Vic, last Jan. 23 through Cesarean section. Danica was one of the firsts to welcome Thia, describing the baby as “another answered prayer.”
Vic has a total of six children: Danica and Oyo Sotto with Dina Bonnevie; politician Vico Sotto with Coney Reyes; Paulina with Angela Luz; and Tali and Thia with Luna.
