Kathryn Bernardo had the time of her life at Taylor Swift’s recent concert as she sang her heart to the pop icon’s hit songs, such as “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
The Kapamilya actress attended Swift’s biggest “Eras Tour” show yet in Melbourne, Australia, on Friday, Feb. 16, and enjoyed a jam-packed singing session with her best friends.
In an Instagram story of one of her friend’s accounts that has been reposted by fans online, Bernardo is seen singing her lungs out to the lyrics of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” which amused netizens given the actress’ controversial breakup with her long-term boyfriend Daniel Padilla last year.
The “A Very Good Girl” star was also seen dancing over Swift’s “Shake It Off,” making the fans happy for Bernardo for having the chance to fangirl over her idol.
Some netizens also pointed out that the award-winning singer’s surprise songs for the Day 1 concert of her Melbourne tour were two of her famous breakup songs, “You’re Losing Me” and “Red,” which they again took as an allusion to Bernardo’s experience.

One fan also mentioned that the day the pop star released “You’re Losing Me,” which was Nov. 30, 2023, was the day Bernardo and Padilla officially confirmed their separation after 11 years.
