Andrea Torres says ‘self-absorbed’ people is her ‘red flag’ in dating

Andrea Torres shared that people who talk about themselves too much are one of the “red flags” she looks out for whenever she goes on a date.
Speaking on Updated with Nelson Canlas podcast on Tuesday, February 13, the Kapuso actress said there are people who she went out with who always find a way to circle back the topic to them.
“Tinitingnan ko rin ‘pag ‘yung topic puro ba sa kaniya, may ganun. Parang may way siya na bumabalik sa kaniya ‘yung topic,” she shared.
Torres also underscored that people who belittle or show no respect towards others are “red flags” for her too.
“Ayoko ng nangmamaliit ng tao, or may ma-comment siya na ganun, may level sa kaniya ‘yung mga tao,” said the actress.
Despite witnessing the “red flags,” the “Maria Clara at Ibarra” star remarked that she will not walk out of the date. However, she’d be sure to take note so that there would be no more second time.
“Itutuloy ko naman (‘yung date), hindi naman ako magwo-walk out, pero parang wala lang. Usually mapapansin mo na lang na hindi na kayo magde-date ulit,” stated Torres.
The 33-year-old actress’ last relationship was with actor Derek Ramsay who is now married to Ellen Adarna. Despite being single for years now, Torres revealed she’s back in the dating game as she shared a few tips on the subject.
“Yes! Actually, it’s been a long time… there’s a bit of a gap,” she said on being back at dating. “I’m just really enjoying it. It’s still the same, single, but happy and enjoying [and] exploring life,”
Torres advised that women should “feel relaxed” when going out on a date, as she stressed that dating sees no age, so no one should be pressured into diving into it.
“Kapag pupunta ka dun, relax ka lang, be yourself, be yourself talaga kasi ganun din e, dun din naman mapupunta ‘yun e,” she said.
“No rush, kahit na anong edad ka pa, wala namang timetable ‘yan. Lalo na ngayon, mas late na ang mga girls mag-family, talagang medyo nagsa-start munang ibuo ‘yung sarili nila,” remarked the actress.
