Dominic Roque appeared to be taking a trip down memory lane as he posted a throwback picture of himself from what seemed to be a past getaway with Bea Alonzo amid their rumored breakup.
On his Instagram account on Saturday, Feb. 10, a smiling Roque can be seen chilling at a diner while holding a glass of wine.
“Morning,” his caption read, without disclosing the location of the diner.

A fan page dedicated to Roque and Alonzo posted a combined image showing the couple seated on identical chairs in an unspecified foreign land. Throughout their relationship, the couple have been known to take time off from work by flying off to a foreign destination.

The actor earned the support of his fans, fellow celebrities Jennifer Sevilla and IC Mendoza, and writer Noreen Capili in the comments, with some hoping he’s doing better.

The post came days after Roque defended Alonzo from negative comments on social media on Thursday, Feb. 8, saying the latter is a “beautiful person inside and out.” Despite this, both camps have yet to make a clear statement about their breakup, which was reported by entertainment columnist Boy Abunda in a Feb. 6 episode of his talk show.
Speculations about Roque and Alonzo’s relationship have been making waves among entertainment circles since January after the actress was spotted not wearing her engagement ring on multiple occasions. This, after the ex-partners appeared to be giving vague responses when asked about their wedding — which is said to have been called off.
Abunda, however, said the exes have been “trying to understand each other” as they reportedly still have been in contact, which came from anonymous sources. He also reported that the “One More Chance” star had already returned her engagement ring to Roque.
Citing unnamed sources, showbiz insider and talent manager Ogie Diaz also spoke about their split on his vlog earlier this month, saying the couple had signed a prenup before deciding to tie the knot and that Alonzo was coming down with the wedding jitters.
The ex-couple was supposed to tie the knot sometime in 2024, and they had reportedly gone on ocular visits in Japan and Europe before their reported breakup.
