Marian Rivera cried foul after being a victim of several fake quote cards credited to her, with the recent one involving statements about her relationship with her in-laws.

The “Rewind” actress showed the fake quote card that has a photo of her and an edited verified badge, as seen on her Facebook page on Tuesday, Feb. 6.

The quote was about Rivera supposedly talking about how lucky she is for having in-laws that do not meddle with their children’s decisions and love their children-in-law as their own.

“Hindi ko ‘to sinasabi. [Bakit] ba may mga taong hilig mag-edit?!” she lamented. (I didn’t say this. Why are there people who keep on editing things like this?!)

“Nakakarami na po kayo. Tama na!” she appealed. (You already made a lot of this. Please stop it!)

Meanwhile, Rivera and her husband Dingdong Dantes’ film “Rewind” earlier made history as it became the first Filipino film to reach over P900 million at the box office.

It surpassed the 2019 hit movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, and became the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time.

“Rewind” also bagged two awards at the inaugural Manila International Film Festival (MIFF): the Best Actor honor for Dantes and the Best Supporting Actor nod for Pepe Herrera.
