Kathryn Bernardo set to renew contract with Star Magic

Kathryn Bernardo will remain as a Kapamilya as she will renew on Friday, Feb. 2, her contract with Star Magic, the talent management arm of ABS-CBN.
The talent management company announced this through its Instagram page on Wednesday, Jan. 31, finally dismissing rumors of the actress’ talent-agency transfer.

“A very special milestone is afoot our ‘Asia’s Superstar’ and ‘Outstanding Asian Star,’ Kathryn Bernardo!” the caption read.
“This FEBRUARY 2, witness Kathryn flip the page to new stellar adventures as a Kapamilya in her ‘FOREVER KAPAMILYA’ contract signing!” it added.

Fans then expressed their excitement as they sent their congratulatory greetings to Bernardo via the comments section.

Star Magic’s announcement of Bernardo’s contract renewal came after the talent management agency shut down rumors that Daniel Padilla, the actress’ ex-boyfriend, would transfer to another talent company.
“Walang katotohanan na bibitawan nila ang aktor o aalis ang aktor sa kanilang bakuran,” ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe earlier said in an exclusive report.
(There is no truth to rumors that Star Magic will let go of Daniel and that the actor will leave the talent management agency.)
Padilla is scheduled to renew his contract in February as well.
Rumors of Bernardo and Padilla’s talent-agency transfer arose after they confirmed their breakup in November last year. The pair had been together for 11 years.
