Carla Abellana has once again solidified her being a Kapuso after renewing her contract with GMA, her home network since 2009.

Donning a pastel pink cocktail dress, Abellana described her contract signing on Monday, Jan 29, as a “very special day.” It was attended by her talent agency Triple A Management through its CEO Michael Tuviera, and GMA executives led by network chairman Felipe Gozon.

“Napakahirap at this moment magpigil ng luha, ise-save ko na lang sa aking mga eksena [shows]. Napaka valuable nito para sa’kin. Ako dapat ang magpasalamat sa inyong lahat for your trust and belief para sa’kin,” she said.

(It’s hard for me to control my tears, I’ll just save it for when I’m acting in my shows. This is very valuable for me. I should be the one thanking you all for your trust and belief in me.)

More glimpses of Abellana’s contract signing event were shared by her agency, where she also posed for photos with Triple A Management COO and CFO Jojo Oconer, and celebrity manager and Triple A Management operations head Jacqui Cara.

“Carla Abellana, solid Kapuso! Carla renews her contract with GMA network,” the agency wrote in one of its posts.

GMA also shared glimpses of Abellana’s contract signing on its respective Instagram pages on the same day.

“Carla is still a Kapuso! Multi-acclaimed actress and ‘Stolen Life’ star Carla Abellana is still a proud #Kapuso after her contract signing with GMA Network today,” wrote GMA’s corporate communications on Instagram.

Also seen at the event were GMA senior vice president Annette Gozon-Valdes, and GMA president and CEO Gilberto Duavit Jr., to name a few.

Abellana started her showbiz career as a commercial model, where she starred in her first lead role as Rosalinda in 2009. She is best known for her appearances in “My Husband’s Lover,” and “My Destiny.”

She is set to work with Bea Alonzo and Gabbi Garcia in the upcoming series “Widows’ War,” although details about the storyline and premiere date are yet to be revealed to the public.
