Tanfelix’s casting came after original member Ruru Madrid announced that he would miss the show’s second season. Even so, Madrid teased that he will still have a special participation in the show.

The release date for the second season of “Running Man Philippines,” which is co-produced by GMA Network and the Korean TV network SBS, has yet to be revealed as of this writing.

The original “Running Man” first aired in 2010. It stars Korean celebrities Song Ji-hyo, Ji Suk-jin, Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Jong-kook, Haha, Yang Se-chan and Jeon So-min. Actor Lee Kwang-soo was also part of the original cast, but he left the show in 2021 due to an injury from a car accident.
