Daniel Padilla, Karla Estrada’s home on sale for P50 million
The two-story family home of Daniel Padilla and his mother Karla Estrada in Quezon City has also been put up for sale with an asking price of P50 million.
A real estate account shared photos and videos of the property, described as an “elegant owner’s built house,” through its Instagram page on December 2023. The house for sale was promoted again through its Instagram Stories last Jan. 17.
Padilla, Estrada, and their family appeared to have celebrated Christmas and New Year in their Quezon City home, as seen in the photos shown by the latter on Instagram.
Meanwhile, talent manager Ogie Diaz shared his two cents on the matter in his “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,” as seen on his YouTube channel.
“I’m sure iisipin ng mga tao, ‘San na sila titira? Naghihirap na ba ang pamilya ni Daniel Padilla kaya nagbebenta ng bahay?’ Alam niyo, ang importante ay may ibebenta,” Diaz said.
“Ang alam ko kasi, parang ang gusto ni Karla ay ibenta na ‘yung bahay kasi gusto na niyang lumipat sa bandang south,” he added, noting that Estrada might also want a new environment or a bigger place for her extended family.
Both Padilla and Estrada have yet to comment, as of this writing.
Daniel Padilla’s sports car also put on sale
Daniel Padilla’s luxury sports car was put up for sale on Facebook Marketplace and was even offered to social media personality Jayson Luzadas, also known as Boss Toyo, for P6 million.
In Luzadas’ YouTube vlog, a car dealer and a companion offered to sell Padilla’s first of many sports cars, an orange Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7. They brought along several documents of Padilla’s ownership of the vehicle and some identification cards.
According to the dealer, Padilla bought his car sometime in 2016 but just recently decided to part ways with the car. When Luzadas asked why Padilla would want to sell his first car, the dealer said, “Siguro boss, sawa na, retired na… pero ‘yan ang kauna-unahang nabili nya.”
The car was initially priced at P6.5 million, but Luzadas asked if the car could be bought for P5.5 million instead. He and the dealer haggled until Luzadas gave a final counter-offer of P5.8 million.
While Luzadas didn’t agree with the offer, the dealer said they could not sell the sports car at a price lower than P6 million, citing its “market value.” Later, the dealer admitted that Padilla had first sold the car to a friend, who then asked them to find another buyer.
Padilla’s sports car was also put up for sale by Facebook pages F2A Cars and Garage888ph.
Padilla is known to have a knack for sports cars, where he previously owned a Ford E-150 and Polaris 4X4 all-terrain vehicle, to name a few.
The car was eventually sold to a buyer from Angeles City, Pampanga, days later.
Valeen Montenegro marries non-showbiz BF
Valeen Montenegro tied the knot with her non-showbiz boyfriend Riel Manuel in a church wedding held at the Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Forbes Park, Makati last Jan. 12.
Montenegro treated fans to a peek at their wedding preparations, rings, reception, and after-party, through posts she reposted to her Instagram Stories. She walked down the aisle in an off-shoulder serpentina gown adorned with embellishments, while her groom looked dapper in a black suit.
Among the celebrities present at the wedding were Mavy Legaspi, Carla Abellana, Ashley Rivera, and Ina Feleo who each extended their well-wishes to the newlyweds via their respective Instagram pages.
Montenegro and Manuel had been dating since 2018 and got engaged in November 2022.
Tom Holland denies split with Zendaya
Tom Holland debunked rumors of a separation between him and Zendaya by giving a direct, two-word response. The couple sparked breakup rumors after the latter cleared her Instagram following and unfollowed everyone on her list, including the actor.
In a video posted by TMZ, Holland said “absolutely not” when asked if he had broken up with the “Euphoria” star.
Several international outlets also mentioned that neither of them was spotted in public recently, which ignited more of the speculations.
However, in June, Holland told Hollywood Reporter that his personal matters, especially his relationship with Zendaya, are something he’s “protective of.”
“Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and that we want to keep as sacred as possible. We don’t think that we owe it to anyone; it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers,” he said.
Zendaya echoed this in her August 2023 interview with Elle Magazine, saying she could choose what she wanted to share despite being a public figure. “Parts of my life, I accept, are going to be public. I can’t be a person and live my life and love the person I love. But also, I do have control over what I choose to share.”
The two met in 2016 after starring in “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” The following year, rumors surfaced they were dating, but it was only in 2021 that they made their relationship official.
‘We know what you did last summer’
Is Kathryn Bernardo’s older sister, Kaye, alluding to the actress’ ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla’s years of infidelity in her recent post? This question has been circulating among netizens after Kaye’s most recent cryptic post.
Days after Kathryn unfollowed Padilla on Instagram, Kaye shared a photo of a Guy Fawkes mask with a Destiny’s Child song “Say My Name” as background music, as seen on her Facebook page last Jan. 12.
“2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2023, and the very first one that I know, 2014,” she captioned her post, along with clapping hands, a trophy, and mask emojis.
Some speculated that the years in Kaye’s caption referred to years when Daniel allegedly cheated on Kathryn.
Others also pointed out that 2014 — which was also included in the caption — was the year when Padilla got embroiled in an “audio scandal.” In the audio clip, Padilla was speculated to be him exchanging texts with Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
This is not the first time Kaye made a cryptic post appearing to refer to Padilla, as she previously also shared the song “Karma” after they confirmed their breakup.
Bernardo and Padilla confirmed their split last Nov. 30. While they opted not to disclose the reason behind their split, the actress admitted that she and the latter “have been drifting apart.”
