Daniel Padilla out, Kathryn Bernardo invited to Bea Alonzo, Dominic Roque’s wedding

Don’t expect to see Daniel Padilla in the upcoming wedding of Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque, as he and the groom-to-be appeared to still not have patched things up following their rift in 2021.
Padilla’s ex-girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo, however, is on the guest list, Roque disclosed in an ambush interview with reporters at the sidelines of a skincare clinic’s Thanksgiving event.
“Si Kath (Bernardo) lang. Kasi hindi pa kami okay ni DJ (Padilla). I mean, we’re not talking,” he said, pointing out that the last time they were in contact was since 2020.
“We haven’t seen each other for the longest time since 2020. I haven’t been [in contact with Daniel] since then. Matagal na kaming hindi nagu-usap since 2020 (We haven’t been talking since 2020),” he added.
Roque was part of a celebrity clique called Nguya Squad composed of Padilla, Bernardo, Ria Atayde, Joshua Garcia, Gabbi Garcia, Patrick Sugui, Marco Gumabao, and Khalil Ramos. These last three, Roque said, will have important roles at his wedding.
“Actually, hindi pa namin nailalatag sino ang nasa entourage. Basta sa lalaki side, ‘yung mga barkada kong lalaki: sina Patrick, Marco, Khalil. ‘Yun talaga ang mga kasama ko,” he said.
(Actually, we haven’t even decided on the people included in our entourage yet. But in the male guests, I’m eyeing my close friends Patrick, Marco, and Khalil. They are the ones who will be with me.)
Roque also shared that he and Alonzo are busy preparing for their wedding at the moment, and they’re hoping to fix their “Save the Date” within the month.
“Actually, itong January ‘yung Save the Date so inaayos na namin lahat ang lahat ng ayusin… itong January dapat ilatag lahat. Ang daming aasikasuhin from our families to our friends, mga bisita, our ninongs and ninangs,” he said.
(Actually, we’re eyeing to secure our ‘Save the Date’ this January so we’re fixing everything that needs to be fixed. Everything needs to be settled by January. We have a lot to get done such as making sure our families, friends, guests, and godparents are settled.)
Padilla and Roque have not disclosed the cause of their falling out, which has resulted in the latter leaving their group. Roque and Bernardo, however, appeared to have settled their differences.
Roque and Alonzo are set to tie the knot this 2024, although they remained tightlipped about the details of their wedding. The couple confirmed their engagement in July 2023.
Meanwhile, Padilla and Bernardo have confirmed their separation last November 30 after months of speculation of their breakup.
