Yugyeom, the beloved maknae of the South Korean group GOT7, has announced the release of his inaugural full-length album, “Trust Me.”

GOT7’s youngest member took to social media to share teasers of the upcoming album, coinciding with the group’s celebration of its tenth anniversary in the industry.

The record, scheduled for release on Feb. 21, will serve as Yugyeom’s newest musical production after he released his single album “LOLO” in July of last year. More details about his first solo studio album are expected in the coming weeks.

GOT7 members have congratulated their maknae for this achievement and have already expressed excitement over the latter’s forthcoming album release.

Following GOT7’s departure from its former label, JYP Entertainment, Yugyeom has embarked on a distinct solo career with the hip-hop and R&B label AOMG. To date, he has produced one extended play (EP), his debut solo production “Point of View: U” in July 2021, along with two single albums, including “Take You Down” in March 2022.

Two months after the latter’s release, Yugyeom joined his fellow GOT7 members in releasing their self-titled EP, bannered by the lead single “NANANA.” This marks GOT7’s first and only musical production as a group since the members left their former company to pursue their individual solo careers.

Yugyeom participated in celebrating the group’s decade-old journey, expressing in his handwritten letter to their fans that he looks forward to showing his efforts and hard work “through my albums, stages, and actions rather than words, so please watch.”
