Sanya Lopez not desperate for love: I’m focused on work

Sanya Lopez said she hasn’t reached a point where she is so eager to have a love life, as she currently prioritizes her career and believes there is a right time for everything.
Speaking on the Updated with Nelson Canlas podcast, the actress emphasized that, as of the moment, she is not begging for love to enter the picture, as she notes that she is currently happy with things going on in her life.
“Yes parang hindi pa ko umabot sa part na gustong gusto ko na [love life] ‘yung parang sige na ibigay niyo na sakin ‘to, hindi pa naman ako umabot sa ganon. Ayoko rin namang umabot kasi so far lahat ng nangyayari sa akin happy talaga ako,” she said.
The 27-year-old reflected on the balance between having a love life and a career, noting she is more focused on the latter as she thinks she cannot fulfill the demands of a romantic relationship at all times.
“Hanggang ngayon hindi pa binibigay satin, ang sabi daw kapag suwerte ka sa career talagang pagdating sa love life mailap. Parang ang hirap pumasok sa isang love life na hindi mo maibigay ‘yung tamang oras para sa kanya,” she said.
“Parang nabanggit ko ‘yon before na kapag may binigay sakin isang bagay focus talaga ako doon, kaya nung binigay sakin ‘yung trabaho talagang tutok ako dito,” added the actress.
Lopez opened up, saying that there were times when romance was present in her life, but she tries to take her priorities one at a time.
“Nagkaroon rin ako ng lovelife, dumating rin naman tayo sa lumalove life. Kaya lang yung may mga moment talaga na ang demand nila sakin time kasi mas nagfo focus talaga ako kung ano yung pinaka feeling ko priority [trabaho],” she shared.
The “Encatandia” star emphasized that she has a mindset that if something is meant for her, it will be for her regardless of the hindrances.
“Naniniwala kasi ako na kapag para sayo kahit na anong bagay tao man o yung trabaho o kahit na ano, kapag para sayo ibibigay talaga para sayo ‘yun at hihintayin ko nung bagay na ‘yun kasi kahit anong mangyari kahit na may humarang, basta para sayo sayo ‘yun,” affirmed Lopez.
