Gretchen Ho happy for ex-BF Robi Domingo’s wedding to Maiqui Pineda

Gretchen Ho assured that all is well between her and her ex-boyfriend Robi Domingo and that she’s happy about his wedding to Maiqui Pineda, after her post about “trusting ourselves” amid “challenges” made rounds on social media.

Ho said this in response to one @alter_sorsogon on X (formerly Twitter) who, while sharing a screenshot of the TV host’s Instagram Story containing a reshared quote from Amber Lyon, apparently “felt sad” for her.

The quote in the TV host’s post read, “Things don’t come to us once we are ready, they tend to arrive early. Right when we are not sure of our capacity to fulfill them. And that’s the acceptance of the challenge. The ability to trust ourselves to figure it out as we go. To navigate new waters and learn along the way.”

This led to Ho clarifying that her Instagram Story was merely about her “career realizations” and that she was busy camping.

“Hi, sorry, couldn’t help but clear this up. My post on my IG stories was about some career realizations. I was off-grid for most of the day (camping) so I didn’t really know,” she wrote. “Re: wedding, I am very and completely happy for Robi and Maiqui! We are good friends!”

Domingo wed Pineda at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador in Bulacan, while their reception was held at the North Polo Club last Jan. 6. Among their guests are former Vice President Leni Robredo, Kathryn Bernardo, Piolo Pascual, and Donny Pangilinan.

The “Pinoy Big Brother” host was previously in a relationship with Ho from 2013 until they confirmed their split in March 2017.
