Some of the biggest names in the country witnessed the wedding of Robi Domingo and Maiqui Pineda in Bulacan on Saturday, Jan. 6, including former vice president Leni Robredo and celebrities such as Kathryn Bernardo and Piolo Pascual.
Domingo and Pineda, who got engaged in 2022, exchanged their “I dos” at the diocesan shrine and San Isidro Labrador parish church in Pulilan, Bulacan.
Robredo, who served as one of the principal sponsors, shared moments from the wedding on her Instagram Stories, where she is shown hugging a tearful Domingo and posing with the newlyweds and celebrity guests.

Bernardo, who looked breathtaking in a light-green asymmetrical dress, was chosen as one of the candle sponsors with her ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla, as seen in a video by “ASAP Natin ‘To” head writer Darla Sauler.

Pascual, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez, Donny Pangilinan and ABS-CBN’s COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes were also invited to the couple’s special day, as seen on the singer-songwriter’s Instagram account.

The “Mallari” star, who wore a long-sleeved barong at the wedding, interacted with Robredo, whom the latter referred to as her “kumpare” or friend.

Bianca Gonzalez expressed her delight to be part of her “Pinoy Big Brother” co-host’s special day on her Instagram Stories, where she revealed that the latter couldn’t stop crying at the ceremony.
“To my baby bro who couldn’t stop crying before his wedding, I am so happy to have been part of your most special day,” she wrote. “When we first met, hinatid lang kita sa pagpasok mo sa Bahay ni Kuya (I accompanied you when you first entered the “Pinoy Big Brother house), and now I get to witness sending you off to your happily ever after.”

TV host Ai dela Cruz took to her Instagram page to congratulate the couple who wed “on the most beautiful day with the perfect weather.
“Two of my favorite nicest people in the world got married yesterday on the most beautiful day with the perfect weather in the company of their family and friends who have overflowing love for both of them,” she wrote. “Congratulations, Robi and Maiqui!”

Meanwhile, Melai Cantiveros, Maymay Entrata, Gary Valenciano, Janine Gutierrez, Darren Espanto, Edward Barber and Alora Sasam were also among the celebrities invited to Domingo and Pineda’s wedding, per an exclusive report from ABS-CBN News.
The couple’s wedding was pushed through as scheduled, amid Pineda’s battle with a rare autoimmune disease she was diagnosed with in July 2023, as it’s something for Domingo’s partner to “hope for” as she recovers.
