Before Meghan Markle received global attention for being part of the royal family, she rose to fame after starring in the American legal drama “Suits,” and in 2024, the Duchess of Sussex will reportedly return to acting.

The Mirror reported that The Royal Observer Susan Miller said that Markle is craving to return to acting. She told the outlet: “Meghan wants to go back to acting. I don’t think the [Netflix] business plan of creating movies is the way it’s going to go. I think she will go back to work.”

In November, the duchess-actress told Variety that she had exciting projects in store that she and her husband, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, would be announcing soon.

“We have so many exciting things on the slate. I can’t wait until we can announce them, but I’m just really proud of what we’re creating. My husband is loving it, too. It’s really fun,” shared Markle.

In 2022, the 42-year-old duchess opened up about being done with the acting industry after her seven-year stint in “Suits.”

“I’ve been working on my show for seven years. So, we were very fortunate to have that sort of longevity in a series. For me, once we hit the 100-episode marker, I thought, I have ticked this box, and I feel really proud of the work I’ve done there, and now it’s time to work as a team with you [Harry],” she said.

“No. I’m done. I guess never say never, but my intention is absolutely not,” Markle told Variety on her comeback to acting.

In 2002, Markle landed her first TV role in “General Hospital,” which led her to secure more acting gigs as she appeared in the TV series “CSI,” “The League,” and “Knight Rider,” as well as a recurring role in “90210” throughout the 2000s.

She also appeared in movies such as “A Lot like Love,” “Remember Me” and “Horrible Bosses,” among others.
