Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes ‘have nothing but gratitude’ on 9th wedding anniversary
Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, collectively known as DongYan, are more in love than ever, as they marked their ninth wedding anniversary with hearts filled with “nothing but gratitude.”
On their respective Instagram accounts on Saturday, Dec. 30, the celebrity power couple posted photos of their wedding which took place at the Immaculate Conception Church in Quezon City, while reception was held at the Mall of Asia Arena.
“Siyam na taon ng pagmamahal, tawanan, at walang katapusang pasasalamat. Happy Anniversary mahal, ikaw ang aking walang hanggang biyaya,” Rivera said in the caption of her post. (Nine years of love, laughter and endless gratitude. Happy anniversary, love. You’re my endless blessing.)

For his part, Dantes described Rivera as the “best mom, wife, friend, and leading lady anyone could ever ask for” in his post, while noting how filming their Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry felt like going on a date every single day.

Many celebrities sent their well wishes to Rivera and Dantes in the comments of their posts, including Jackie Lou Blanco, KC Montero, Janeena Chan, Cherry Pie Picache, Luis Alandy, Coney Reyes, Aiko Melendez, Dina Bonnevie and Ogie Alcasid.
On the other hand, Mae Cruz-Alviar, director of their MMFF film “Rewind,” said she was “blessed to have witnessed” the couple’s romance behind the scenes.
When asked about the secret of their long-lasting relationship during the press conference of their film, Rivera and Dantes said “love, respect, and give and take” are some of the factors that keep them together.
The couple welcomed their first child, Maria Letizia, in November 2015 and their second child, Jose Sixto, in April 2019.
