Pokwang said she’s unlikely to receive an apology from her estranged partner Lee O’Brian because, as claimed by the actress, “sorry” is not part of his vocabulary.

After the Bureau of Immigration (BI) ordered the American actor’s deportation, netizens, including one @ianorb, congratulated Pokwang via X on Saturday, Dec. 23.

“Pokwang, congratulations. Hope sir Lee could find the heart to say sorry,” the X user said, tagging the comedian’s handle.

“Malabo; kahit kay God hindi magso-sorry yan kasi hindi naituro ng [magulang] niya ang word na ‘yan,” Pokwang replied. (That’s unlikely to happen. He wouldn’t even say sorry to God because his parents were not able to teach him that word.)

Meanwhile, one @bonsai356 reacted to the BI’s resolution in a different tone and said that Pokwang should have thought of Malia, her daughter with O’Brian.

“Sana inisip mo anak mo. Pano pa niya mayayakap papa niya? (You should have thought of your daughter. How will she now be able to hug her father?)” the netizens asked, to which Pokwang responded, “Sana inisip din niya ‘yan bago siya nanggamit ng kapwa mo Pinoy.” (He should have also thought of that before he fooled me, your fellow Filipino citizen.)

“Sana inisip din niya na ako lang bumuhay sa bata. Sana inisip din niya ‘yan bago siya nagpapalit-palit ng mga kasamang babae at walang sustento!” she added.

(He should have thought about how I was the only one supporting our child. He should have thought of that before he went with different women, all while not giving financial support to his daughter!)

Another netizen that goes by the handle @_luzille also asked, “What will happen to their kid?”

A seemingly piqued Pokwang then replied, “Bakit niyo pinoproblema mga bagay na di niyo naman dapat pakialaman? Kahit noong nagsasama kami, ako na bumubuhay sa kanya at sa anak namin. So ano silbi niya?”

(Why are you poking your nose into matters where you shouldn’t? Even when we’re still together, I was the only one earning a living for him and for our child. What was his purpose?)

O’Brian has been ordered deported by the BI for violating his work visa. After the decision was made public, Pokwang vowed to strive to be a good mother and father to Malia.

“Nagpapasalamat ako una sa Panginoon dahil pinakinggan niya ang aking mga dasal na magkaroon ng hustisya ang nangyari sa akin at sa aking anak,” she said. “Lalo pa akong magsisikap sa araw-araw para maitaguyod ko ang aking pamilya.”
