Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Demi Lovato and her musician boyfriend Jordan Lutes, also known as “Jutes,” as she announced that she has said yes to his marriage proposal.
The “Heart Attack” singer, 31, showed moments from when Lutes, 32, popped the question, as seen on her Instagram page on Monday, Dec. 18. She also flaunted her pear-shaped diamond ring from the musician.
“I’m still speechless. Last night was the best night of my life and I can’t believe I get to marry the love of my life,” she captioned her post.
Lovato, in 2021, established herself as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, revealing that she identifies as pansexual.
Addressing Lutes, Lovato said: “My love, I’m beyond excited to marry you.. Every day I’ve spent with you has been a dream come true and I can’t wait to love and cherish you forever. Here’s to the rest of our lives. I love you baby.”
Lutes, for his part, felt as if he was the “luckiest man alive” after Lovato accepted his wedding proposal, as per his Instagram page. In a separate post, he also thanked those who helped him in making the surprise proposal a success.
“I can’t imagine my life without you and thank God, now I’ll never have to. Feeling like the luckiest man alive right now,” he wrote. “I’m so in love with you, [Demi].”
Lovato and Lutes made their romance public via an Instagram post in Aug. 2022. Lovato’s relationship with the musician was her first public romance after she called off her engagement to American actor-singer Max Ehrich in 2020.
