Demi Lovato reveals current concert tour will be her last
Demi Lovato is over with concert touring as she announced that her current tour in support of her eighth album “Holy Fvck” will be her last.
The American singer (pronouns: she/her, they/them), who gained fame in Disney’s 2008 TV film “Camp Rock,” revealed her decision to stop touring in since-deleted Instagram Stories captured by Page Six and Billboard yesterday, Sept. 13.
“I’m so f—king sick I can’t get out of bed,” she said in the deleted Instagram Stories, which featured what appeared to be photos from a hotel room.
“I can’t do this anymore. This next tour will be my last. I love and thank you guys,” Lovato added.
The “Heart Attack” singer did not disclose details on her said illness, but told fans she “barely [has] a voice,” as per her Instagram Stories today, Sept. 14.
“Gonna power [through] it for you guys. I’ll need help singing so sing loud for me bb’s!” she stated. “I barely have a voice. I’m gonna be pointing the mic to the audience a lot tonight. Please sing for me.”
Lovato started her “Holy Fvck” concert tour in August, and is expected to be on the road until Nov. 6, when it wraps at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas.
Aside from “Heart Attack,” the singer is also known for other hits including “Give Your Heart a Break,” “La La Land,” “Really Don’t Care” and “Skyscraper.” /ra
