The 2023 Asia Artist Awards’ red carpet did not disappoint as a slew of star attendees from K-pop and K-drama brought their A-game to today’s occasion, not to mention the Filipino celebrities who brought their glamorous looks to the prestigious event.
This year’s 8th Asia Artist Awards’ saw multimedia star Melai Cantiveros, Filipino pop band Ben&Ben, leading Filipino contemporary pop group SB19, South Korea-based Filipino boy band HORI7ON, Kapamilya stars Jennica Garcia, and Alora Samsam, along with the cast of “Maam Chief,” grace the red carpet.
Despite being part of the lineup, former couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla did not show up on the red carpet; however, videos of them at the ceremony arriving late together and interacting with their co-celebrities have been circulating on the internet.
Meanwhile, SB19 rocked the event’s stage as they performed their hits “Mana,” “Bazinga,” “Crimzone,” and the widely popular “Gento” with a multinational boy band based in Japan and South Korea, &Team.
The Filipino pop group is also one of the recipients of the AAA Hot Trend Award. In their acceptance speech, SB19 members Pablo and Josh expressed their gratitude to their fans, called ATIN.
“This is our first time to be part of the Asia Artist Awards, and it’s such a big milestone, not just for SB19 but for every Filipino out there. We can say that we made it, and we’re achieving our dreams. Thank you so much, especially to A’TIN and all of the people behind us,” said SB19’s Josh.
