Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are possibly among the busiest couples in local entertainment industry nowadays, what with the promotion of their comeback movie together, several endorsements and other projects. But the show biz royalties are not letting these get in the way of having quality time with their children, Zia and Ziggy.

Rivera and Dantes, collectively known as “DongYan,” admittedly got their hands full with the promotion of their movie, “Rewind,” which is an entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

So ‘yung oras talaga namin sa bahay, sa mga bata medyo nabawasan,” said Dantes during their launch as brand ambassador for an electric vehicle.

Given their growing family, the primetime king noted that they are now into things that help them bond as a family, and for their children to store more core memories of them together.

Malaking bagay na nagagawa namin siya ng magkakasama kaya sa pamamagitan ng bagong vehicle nakakapunta kami sa mga malalapit na lugar sa aming barangay, to do recreational stuff, or just as simple as playing in the park,” he further said.

Rivera echoed her husband’s statement, saying their free time is devoted to their children.

At the same time, Dantes weighed in on the use of electric vehicles in relation to the environment and safety. He said that e-cars are not meant to be used in going to far places or even in highways.

For us, specifically, ‘yung use niya talaga ay for not so far places, malalapit na lugar lang,” he said.

Mahalaga pa rin talaga na isipin natin, let’s be mindful of our responsibilities as people on the road, as responsible users of this kind of vehicle, kasi meron po talagang tamang lugar sa mga ganitong vehicle,” the actor added.
